Andy travels widely offering multicultural
storytelling programs in a variety of venues (schools K-12, colleges, libraries, museums, etc). He is an author,
workshop leader and a recipient of a WV Artist Fellowship Award in Children’s Literature. He
is on the roster of the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Artists In Schools, Artsbridge,
and Akron's Access program. He has a degree in Theater from City University of New York .
Andy’s dramatic presentations of age appropriate stories, folktales,
legends and myths from around the world promote positive values, character development and appreciation
of world literatures. His program includes a display of musical instruments from world cultures. He might
also provide tips on creative expression and talk about his experiences as a child immigrating to America from Germany.
Andy also offers two workshops
for grades 3 and up (Write It! and Tell It!), one for teachers (Developing A Story Culture In The
Classroom), and one to help people in general explore their own stories and creativity (In Search Of Story). Upon
request he will send brochure and letters of appreciation.
